Blue Chip 2026 AAU Tournament Player Pool — Now Open
Spring local league is the beginning of our tournament player development cycle. From there, we evaluate, develop, and build throughout the spring and summer with the goal of finishing strong at End of Summer Slam at ESPN in Orlando.
Blue Chip is now building its 2026 tournament player pool for boys in 4th through 12th grade. This process is for:
- IDP players
- Current Blue Chip players coming out of Spring League
- Outside competitive players looking for high-level tournament opportunities
Competitive Player Opportunities
In addition to our core Blue Chip players, this process is also open to experienced and high-level players outside of the program who are looking for additional tournament opportunities.
Many skilled players participate in multiple sports or are part of other organizations that may not attend larger multi-court events such as ESPN tournaments. We are actively looking to identify and include players who:
- can compete at a high level
- are looking for additional game reps and experience
- may be available for select tournaments only
Players may be selected for one or multiple tournament weekends based on fit, availability, and team needs.
This is not a recreational or guaranteed-placement program. It is a competitive player pool where teams are built based on performance, readiness, and roster construction.
Our summer program is designed to be flexible, competitive, and realistic for families. Instead of locking every team into one large tournament commitment, we first collect player availability, evaluate fit, and then build teams tournament by tournament on an a la carte basis.
Our Summer Strategy
In past years, we have been one of the top organizations by total team count at the AAU Memorial Day Classic at ESPN. This year, we are still targeting major ESPN events, but our goal is to build throughout the summer and make End of Summer Slam at ESPN our primary season finale.
Phase 1 – Spring League Build
Develop all players through league play and training.
Phase 2 – Early Tournament Entry
Selective team submissions for Easter and Memorial events.
Phase 3 – Summer Development
Mini-camps, weeknight games, and local tournament reps.
Phase 4 – Premier Event Window
Selective teams compete in high-level events.
Phase 5 – End of Summer Slam
Primary organizational finish at ESPN.
