Intense Development Player Pool (Farm System)

A high-intensity skill advancement player pool focused on creating real pathways to school and AAU basketball.

BC-IDP is not a traditional team. It is a structured training and evaluation system where players earn competitive opportunities.

If your athlete is serious about development and ready for competitive environments where you may win or lose by very high margins, BC-IDP is the right place.

Training schedule What to expect week to week
  • Practice and training is typically on weeknights during the school year, except holiday weeks.
  • In the summer when school is out, we run longer mini-camps in the morning every other week.
  • Exact days and times can shift based on gym availability and age group demand.
Uniform costs and lifecycle What you need and how long it lasts

Blue Chip game and practice uniforms average around $100. These are high-quality, sublimated, and reversible uniforms.

  • 12 months for games (Spring to Spring season)
  • Additional 12 months as the primary practice uniform
  • Extra 12 months as a backup practice uniform
  • New uniforms can last up to 2 to 3 years with proper care

Size appropriately for growth and take care to avoid stains or improper washing.

Optional game and tournament opportunities

Not included in monthly membership. Players opt in based on interest, availability, and earned roster opportunities.

1. Local Blue Chip League Play Season-based games with optional practice plans

Games Only registration is typically $250 to $350 per season (Fall, Spring, Winter). Season practice fees vary $50 to $175 based on facility, frequency, and coaching requirements.

League cost summary
Total average cost for a full season of games and practices (approximately 2 months) is $450 to $500.

Typical schedule: 2 weeknight training or practice sessions and 1 to 3 weekend games.

2. Local club tournaments (Spring and Summer) North Florida tournaments with a pre-order commitment

These are often marketed as “AAU” locally, but many events are not run to AAU standards for roster verification, facilities, organization, or rule enforcement. Expect variable quality.

  • Formats typically guarantee 2 to 3 games with potential for 1 to 2 additional games
  • Players pre-order tournament fees of $35 to $85 to commit
  • IDP coaches select rosters from the committed player list
  • Additional practices may be scheduled at $10 to $15 per practice if needed
  • Spectator fees often run $15 to $25 per day

Typical weekend total per spectator: $40 to $60.

3. AAU and club travel tournaments (Spring and Summer) High-quality events at major multi-court venues

We only commit to travel tournaments held at quality multi-court facilities, with a primary focus on events hosted by the real AAU National Office. These events are generally well-organized and high-quality.

  • Typically 5 to 10 opportunities per year
  • Many major AAU national events are hosted at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando during Easter, Memorial Day, and mid-summer
  • Player pre-order tournament fees typically run $145 to $185
  • Travel arrangements are the player’s responsibility
  • ESPN spectator fee is typically $40 for the entire weekend

If we can secure better rates, we may coordinate optional team hotel blocks, but participation is not required.
