BCE Trainer Protocol
- Trainers must be on time to all practices and games
- Trainers will not horse around during practices
- Trainers will follow all practice plans given by coaches
- Trainers will hold players to all team standards and rules
- Trainers will not lecture players during practice
- Trainers will communicate results and feedback on players to coaches
- Trainers will constantly provide positive feedback to players and any criticism will be given in disclosure. “Whisper criticism scream praise”.
- Trainers will constantly praise what players are doing that is great (pass, screens, shots; miss or makes, foot work, hustle, rebounds, box outs, etc…. hustle…everything.
- Any issues with players or parents will be escalated to coach. Trainers are not to handle them.
