Scholarship & Financial Assistance Programs
Blue Chip Elite is committed to keeping youth athletics accessible while recognizing athletes who excel in the classroom. We currently offer two forms of support: (1) Financial Hardship Assistance and (2) Academic Merit Scholarships.
If cost is a barrier, we offer need-based assistance to help cover a portion of registration. Applications are reviewed confidentially and awards depend on available funding.
- Family demonstrates financial need (brief explanation + supporting context).
- Athlete is committed to attendance and positive participation.
- Parent/guardian agrees to program expectations (communication, punctuality, sportsmanship).
- Assistance may be partial or full based on need, timing, and funding availability.
We also award limited scholarships to athletes who demonstrate strong academic performance and character. These scholarships are designed to reinforce that excellence in the classroom matters just as much as effort on the court.
- Grades: Typically A/B student (suggested benchmark: 3.0+ GPA or equivalent).
- Progress: Demonstrated improvement counts (not only perfect grades).
- Attendance/behavior: Good standing at school; no major disciplinary actions.
- Character: Coachable, respectful, positive teammate; supports others.
- Verification: Report card or grade portal screenshot (current or most recent).
- Short statement: Athlete and/or parent explains goals and why they’re applying.
- Optional: Teacher/counselor note can strengthen an application.
Important: Academic scholarships are limited and awarded at the director’s discretion. If all scholarship spots are currently filled, applicants may be placed into an active scholarship queue. When an athlete comes off scholarship (seasonal change, graduation, relocation, or no longer meeting expectations), the next eligible athlete in the queue may be offered the open spot.
- Awards are applied as a registration credit or code (when available) and may be partial or full.
- Scholarship athletes are expected to maintain attendance, effort, sportsmanship, and communication.
- Failure to meet expectations may result in scholarship review so opportunities can be reallocated fairly.
How to apply (Hardship or Academic): Email us at apply@bluechipelite.com and include: (1) athlete name + age/grade, (2) program you’re registering for, (3) which scholarship type (hardship and/or academic), and (4) a short note with supporting details.
